Description

The BT-3F is an amphibious armored personnel carrier developed on the basis of the highly maneuverable BMP-3 medium armored tracked chassis. Russia unveiled the existence of the BT-3F prototype in May 2018 and the vehicle was demonstrated in August 2018. The BT-3F is equipped with a roof-mounted remotely controlled machine gun to provide fire support for dismounted troops as well as a stretched troop's compartment. The new BT-3F vehicle is intended to support the future requirements of the Russian Marines.
