Description

The XM1113 is a 155mm rocket assisted projectile (RAP) round being developed by General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) for the Australian Defense Forces (ADF). The XM1113 projectile will feature a maximum range of 40 kilometers fired from existing M777 howitzers and up to 70 kilometers fired from the future Extended Range Artillery Cannon. A $15 million contract for the development of the XM1113 round was awarded to GD-OTS and Thales in June 2019 as the replacement of the 155mm M549A1 round.
