JARI-USV-A

The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) JARI-USV-A, also known as Orca, is an unmanned combat vessel developed to perform a wide range of missions operating autonomously without a human crew. The ship can perform long-range strikes, air defense, anti-missile and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) missions. The ship can be classified as a multi-purpose gunboat with a length of 58 meters and a displacement of 500 tons can travel a distance of 4,000 nautical miles (7,000+ kilometers). The catamaran hull design provides enough room for operation of unmanned rotorcraft. Besides, the stealth design enhances its survivability coupled with its small size and high speed. The JARI-USV-A vessel was unveiled in November 2024.
