Description
The MPT-1UM is a lightweight torpedo designed to take out submarines and underwater unmanned vehicles with outstanding stealth characteristics as well as maneuverability. The torpedo can operate at depths of up to 800 meters with a maximum range of 2,000 meters and a maximum speed of 50 knots. The MPT-1UM is fitted with an acoustic homing head and 60 kilogram warhead. The MPT-1UM torpedo is the payload of the Otvet anti-submarine weapon systems introduced in late 2020.
