Description
The Kh-23 is a tactical guided air-to-ground missile intended for the Mig-23 Flogger aircraft and derived from the Kh-66 tactical guided missile used on the Mig-21 in the 1960s. Kh-23 entered service in 1974 with the Kh-23M designation. It uses a radio-command guidance system and is equipped with a conventional warhead. NATO refers to this weapon as the AS-7 Kerry.
