Description
The RAS6 (Robust Automation Sensor) is a ground surveillance radar operating in the W-band (IEEE designation) or M-band (NATO designation) at frequencies between 76 and 77 GHz. Designed for automation applications, this long-range millimeter-wave radar offers instrumented ranges of 300 m, 600 m, or 1,000 m, with corresponding range resolutions of 4.4 cm, 17.5 cm, and 29.2 cm. Its antenna typically generates a symmetrical pencil beam with a 1.8° beamwidth, though the vertical beamwidth can be optionally increased to 3.6°.
