Description
TRIDON is a mobile short air defense system based on a 40mm gun. It provides high firepower, quick reaction time, and high mobility mounted on a single 6x6 all-terrain vehicle. The TRIDON weapon system can engage any target such as surface targets, lightweight armored vehicles, helicopters and concealed troops. Bofors Defence is developing a derivative of TRIDON called TriKA for the Swedish coastal defense forces. In February 2025, Sweden announced its intention of transferring undisclosed number of Tridon Mk2 air defense systems to Ukraine.
