Description
The Kh-31P has been designed to be a high performance anti-radiation missile against the most sophisticated air defense systems developed by NATO countries. It features high kill probability against radar systems that have been turned-off when attacked. The weapon's maximum range is 110-130 kilometers and can be equipped with up to three radar seekers covering multiple frequencies. The Kh-31PM is an upgrade available for Kh-31P which includes a new seeker and improvements to the propulsion system. Overall, the Kh-31PM performance is similar to the Kh-31PK. The Russian Air Force employed the Kh-31PM missile during the Special Military Operation in Ukraine in 2022.
