Description
The Homar-A is multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) derived from the HIMARS weapon system and utilizing a Jelcz 6x6 truck system. The Homar-A weapon system will be able to fire the M30A2 and M31A2 GMLRS rockets as well as the ATACMS tactical ballistic missile. Both munitions allow to engage targets at ranges of more than 70 kilometers and 300 kilometers respectively. The Polish Army plans call for the procurement of 486 Homar-A rocket artillery systems with deliveries starting in 2026.
