Description
The ZBD04 Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) variant is equipped with four HJ-10 anti-tank missiles with a maximum range of 10 kilometers. In addition to the four HJ-10 missiles carried inside sealed canisters the vehicle features a mast mounted electro-optical sensor to engage a variety of ground targets. The weapon system has been designed to engage both armored vehicles and a wide variety of field fortifications in support of Chinese ground troops. The ZBD04 ATGM armored vehicle entered service with the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the 2016-2017 timeframe.
