Description
The Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System Plus (GMLRS+) is a new version of the GMLRS Unitary artillery rocket equipped with a semi-active laser (SAL) seeker to engage laser designated opportunity targets. The GMLRS+ program is being funded by Lockheed Martin. The first test firing was carried out successfully in December 2010 with more tests due in 2011.
