Description
The Sirius is a medium altitude, long endurance (MALE) unmanned aircraft being developed by Kronshtadt to perform reconnaissance and strike missions following the requirements of the Russian Armed Forces. The twin turboprop engine Sirius represents a step forward with a more robust weapon system compared with the Orion unmanned aircraft system. The first prototype of the Sirius is expected to take to the air within 2022 with the entry into service planned a few years later.
