Description

The Swedish Navy SIGINT vessel has been designed to perform Signals Intelligence missions intercepting and analyzing radio signals in support of the interests of Sweden. The steel-made ship is being built by Nauta Shipyard in Poland and will be fitted out by Saab in Sweden. The ship was ordered in 2017 and is expected to be delivered to the Swedish Navy by 2020. The new SIGINT vessel is the replacement for the aging HMS Orion launched in 1984. Nauta started the construction of the new vessel on March 1, 2018. The ship carrying out sea trials in November 2022. In November 2022, Poland ordered two Delfin SIGINT ships to be build by Remontowa Shipbuilding.
