Description
The Royal Navy’s Multi Role Support Ship (MRSS) is a new class of landing ships intended to bring Royal Marines commandos onto hostile shores. The United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced its intention to procure six MRSS amphibious ships in Mary 2024. These ships are expected to replace the existing Albion-class (ships), three Bay-class ships and RFA Argus beginning in the 2030s.
