Krpan 8x8

Krpan 8x8 is a lighter variant of Steyr-Daimler-Puch Spezialfahrzeug Pandur II 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle manufactured by Sistemska tehnika under license in Slovenia. Krpan 8x8 is an amphibious vehicle suitable for a wide range of missions such as armored personnel carrier, mortar vehicle, command post and infantry fighting vehicle. Powered by a 405-hp turbo diesel engine high mobility Krpan achieves a top speed of 105 kph on road. A variety of medium caliber guns are available for this vehicle as well as large caliber guns of up to 105mm or a 120mm mortar. Krpan vehicles can transport a 9/10-man squad and a two-man crew. Currently, the Krpan Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV) is equipped with a 12.7mm machine gun and features room for 12 passengers including the two-man crew. The mortar carrier variant is equipped with AMOS turret-mounted mortar weapon system. The Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) Variant turret is equipped with a Mauser Mk 30-2 30mm gun and a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun along with a eight-man squad and a crew of three. The command post vehicle carries a six-man crew.
