Description
The US Navy’s Future Battleship is a 15,000 to 20,000 tons surface combatant intended to deliver strikes using hypersonic missiles. The new ship may be intended to conduct missile warfare. The Future Battleship concept was made public in October 2025 as part of the Golden Fleet initiative and could become operational by 2040.
