Description

The Caiman is a family of mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles based on reliable Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) platform and the combat-proven Low Signature Armored Cab (LSAC). The highly survivable Caiman platform in 4x4 and 6x6 variants is manufactured by BAE Land Systems for the US Army and US Marine Corps MRAP program under the Global War on Terror (GWOT). Their parts commonality with the 80,000+ FMTVs ensures high levels of readiness, mobility, serviceability, and worldwide support.
