Description
The TRG-122 is a guided, 122mm artillery rocket designed to engage targets with high accuracy at ranges between 16-35 kilometers powered by a solid composite rocket motor. The navigation system is aided by the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to achieve an accuracy of less than 30 meters. The fragmentation (steel ball) warhead detonates using a proximity fuze and provides an effective blast radius of 20-30 meters. The TRG-122 guided rocket was under development in May 2017 and is expected to be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces in 2018 or 2019.
