Description

The HMS Ocean ship was conceived to provide amphibious assault capabilities carrying an embarked military force and their equipment, as well as the means requested to put the military force and their equipment onshore. Typically the HMS Ocean carries 12 support helicopters, 6 attack helicopters, and 4 LCU landing craft vehicles, and up to 40 land vehicles.
