EW System Among other things, one of the systems uses two telescopic masts suitable for VHF/UHF/SHF spectrum monitoring and direction-finding, making it capable of communications electronic support measures (ESM). A total of five vehicles were shown in the CCTV 7 report, two of which have been fitted with these masts. It is not entirely clear what EW equipment is part of the system seen on the other three vehicles, but it is possible that this second system may be suitable for radar ESM.
Payload Capacity 4,150 kg
Features Standard systems are thought to include Beidou navigation software and radios. The standard vehicle has a 24 V electrical system and a self-recovery winch.

Engine Name The vehicle can be fitted with YC6DV1 or ISDe 300 40 diesel engines. The former is a 177 kW (237 hp at 2,700 rpm) V-type, six-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged, intercooled diesel engine. The latter is a 220 kW (295 hp at 2,700 rpm) inline six-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged, and intercooled diesel engine. The engines provide 850 Nm of torque with a range of 1,300–2,100 and 1,200–2,000 rpm, respectively. Both engines would be coupled to a six-speed manual transmission featuring high and low ranges, as well as differential locks.

Protection
Armor The standard protection of the vehicle is sufficient to withstand small-arms fire including 7.62 mm ammunition fired from a distance of 150 m. A video released by China's CCTV7 channel showed that each area of armor was tested against multiple rounds of ammunition. The glass on the vehicle is also protected, possibly to the same level. Some sources state that a blast plate can be installed beneath the hull, but the vehicle otherwise lacks any mine protection.
