Description
The 50N6A is a 8x8 radar vehicle using the BAZ-6909 truck system and intended to support the S-350 air defense system. The 50N6A multifunctional radar uses passive electronically scanned array (PESA) technology to provide 360-degree air surveillance as well as target illumination and (9M96) missile guidance. The radar system must have a detection range of 200-300 kilometers against F-16-sized airborne targets. The radar allows to track 40 airborne targets and engage up to eight of them simultaneously.
