Description
The Tianzhou is an unmanned cargo spacecraft designed in support of the Chinese space program and placed into orbit using the Long March 7 Y2 space launch rocket. The first Tianzhou spacecraft was launched on April 20, 2017, from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in south China's Hainan Province. The Tianzhou cargo spacecraft will play a key role in the construction of a Chinese space station by 2022.
