The J-20A is a further evolution of the J-20 stealth aircraft with more advanced capabilities and powered by the WS-15 thrust vectoring control (TVC) engine with flat nozzles. The J-20A existence was revealed at the Zhuhai China Airshow in November 2018. At that point the aircraft was already under development. China may procure up to 48 J-20B stealth jets per year.
