Description

The Sheksna, AT-12 Swinger NATO-codename, is a subsonic laser beam riding anti-tank missile designed to be fired through a 115mm gun. It provides extended range and enhanced lethality over conventional rounds fired by the 115mm gun. A tandem shaped charge warhead has been provided to the Sheksna missile in order to defeat Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) protected Main Battle Tanks. The Sheksna anti-tank missile has been deployed with the T-62 Main Battle Tank armed with a 115mm main gun. It is a derivative of Bastion anti-tank missile designed for 100mm main guns.
