NUR-31
The NUR-31, also known as "Justyna-82," is a mobile 2D air surveillance radar operating in the L-band (IEEE designation) or D-band (NATO designation). The designation NUR stands for Naziemne Urządzenie Radiolokacyjne (Ground-based Radiolocation Equipment). This fully coherent radar utilizes intrapulse modulation with a pulse compression ratio (PCR) of 10. Its 9x2.5 meter parabolic reflector generates a cosecant-squared antenna pattern, providing an instrumented range of 200 km with a range resolution of 150 meters and a beamwidth of 1.8 degrees. With a peak power of 400 kW and a pulse width of 10 µs, the antenna rotates at 6 revolutions per minute. The NUR-31 was in service with the Polish armed forces from 1988 to 2005.
