Description
The TaepoDong-X is a solid fuel ballistic missile with an estimated range of 2,500 to 4,000 kilometers. Its solid propellant represents a great advancement for North Korea's ballistic missile program. The primary goal of this new weapon is to hit United States military targets in Japan and Guam. As of early 2009, the TaepoDong-X was still under development. It may enter into service in the 2015-2020 timeframe.
