Description
The ZRPK is a short-range air defense system developed by Aselsan to meet the requirements of the Turkish Army. The truck-mounted ZRPK seems to be heavily influenced by the Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense system. The weapon system includes an AKR fire control radar with a maximum detection range of 80 kilometers along with four fixed-position Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars for target detection. The ZRPK carries 12 Gokdogan surface-to-air missiles and two Goker 35mm cannons. The ZRPK concept was made public in April 2023 and should enter service in the 2026-2030 timeframe.
