Description
The Zam-2.0 is a super-fast guided torpedo developed by North Korea since 2021. The torpedo must be using the super cavitating principle to achieve an outstanding underwater speed. North Korea conducted the first successful test firing of the new torpedo weapon system on October 15, 2026. The Zam-2.0 is expected to be deployed in 2027 or 2028.
