Description
The Ariane 62 space launch systems features two P120C solid propellant strap-on boosters at first stage along the Vulcain 2.1 liquid propellant rocket engine. The second stage is powered by the Vinci re-ignitable engine. The first launch of the Ariane 62 space launch system was carried out successfully on July 9, 2024. The first operational launch is planned for March 6, 2025.
