Description
The 9M331-1, also referred to as 9M334, is a further development of the 9M331 short-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) with improved performance. The upgraded missile has a maximum range of 15,000 meters with the ability of hit a variety of airborne targets flying at altitudes between 10 and 10,000 meters at airspeeds of up to 700 meters per second (Mach 2+). The 9M331-1 missile was introduced in 2008 along with the Tor-M2 air defense system.
