Description
The Tornado Gr4 is the most advanced derivative of proven Tornado IDS. The Royal Air Force (RAF) upgraded 142 Tornado Gr1 to the Gr4 configuration. Gr4 aircraft will be fully compatible with the latest weaponry such as the advanced Brimstone and Storm Shadow missiles. By 2018 all existing Tornado Gr4 aircraft will be replaced by the F-35B/C stealth multi-role fighter. The RAF retired the Tornado Gr4 fleet in March 2019.
