Description
The Indian Navy Next-Generation Offshore Patrol Vessel (NGOPV) is a new class of patrol boats to be build by Garden Reach (4 ships) and Goa (7) Shipyards. The Indian Navy plans call for the commissioning of 11 vessels beginning in September 2026. The procurement contract was issued in March 2023. The vessels are expected to be delivered by 2030-2031.
