The MM-1 Burmese Anti-Personnel Mine is a high-explosive (HE), anti-personnel (AP), fragmentation landmine similar to the Chinese Type 58 stake landmine, copied from the Russian POMZ-2.

Design The cast iron body has six rows of fragmentation, with a raised fuze well on the top of the landmine.
Fuze The fuze is generally a MUV type with a spring-loaded striker retaining pin and a tripwire.
Charge The TNT charge is in the central body of the landmine with the wooden stake inserted in the base.
Range On detonation, the body shatters projecting fragmentation up to an effective range of approximately 15 meters.
