Description
The ATX is a family of tactical military truck systems mating TATRA's independent suspension system with Navistar's advanced water cooled diesel engines and crew protection systems. The resulting vehicle family features reliable battle tested technology, superior mobility, outstanding payload, multi-role versatility, commercial leveraged solutions and a global vehicle support network. The ATX's base cab is constructed of welded corrosion resistant sheet steel with integral rigid frame providing Level 1/2 armor protection. Optionally, the base cab can be replaced with a ballistic and blast protected Level 3/4 cabin. Initially, the ATX family includes variants with 6x6 and 8x8 chassis.
