Description
The Boxer Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) is a new variant equipped with the RCT 30 unmanned turret also provided to the German Army Puma infantry fighting vehicle. The Boxer IFV was also demonstrated with the Lance manned turret. The Boxer IFV features a 30mm cannon to engage medium and heavy armored targets. This variant has a crew of ten-man including three crew members (driver, gunner and commander). The Boxer IFV has been ordered by the German Army and the Lithuanian Army (Vilkas 8x8) armed with Mk 44 30mm automatic cannon along Samson remote weapon station. Australia has ordered 211 Boxers in Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV) configuration.
