Scan-Sector

The Scan-Sector is a K-band ground surveillance radar operating within the 24.00 to 24.25 GHz frequency range, designed by Ogier Electronics Ltd. for perimeter protection of critical infrastructure, borders, and fence lines. It functions as a single sensor, providing a 6-degree wide detection zone with a scan rate of 50 scans per second, replacing traditional narrow beam-break systems. The radar automatically controls a CCTV camera via a "slew to cue" function and has an instrumented range of 200 meters. Installation and configuration are straightforward, utilizing a web browser interface over an IP connection, with power and data supplied via a Power over Ethernet (PoE) RJ45 Ethernet connector.
