DFX-100 Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
DFX-100
The DFX-100 is a Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) inspired by the Shahed-136. It is designed as a conventional, cost-effective missile for military operations, capable of conducting precision strikes on known targets. The DFX-100 can launch missiles early in an engagement and hover over mission areas for extended periods, allowing for timely attacks. This UAV can be deployed in both single and multiple low-cost remote launch configurations, which enhances its effectiveness while maintaining cost efficiency. It carries a 50-kilogram warhead with a damage radius of 150 to 300 meters. The system can be prepared for deployment within 30 minutes, indicating a rapid response capability. In military applications, the DFX-100 is equipped with targeting systems that enable operations beyond visual range, allowing for precise strikes on predetermined stationary ground targets. It features navigation and terminal guidance functions to ensure accurate targeting. Additionally, the DFX-100 can be launched from a single UAV launcher, providing flexibility in deployment. Once the warhead is installed, it can effectively target and engage large stationary ground targets. The system also includes wireless monitoring capabilities, allowing operators to track the munition's status during missions. It is claimed that the DFX-100 surpasses the Iranian Shahed-136 in performance, offering enhanced capabilities at a lower price.
