The Nora B-52 NG Serbian 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer is a state-of-the-art artillery weapon developed by the Serbian defense industry. It is renowned for being the most powerful fully automated fire support artillery system in the 155mm caliber, boasting a high level of autonomy. This advanced weapon is built by integrating a 155mm weapon module onto an 8x8 chassis. The weapon module is operated from the vehicle cabin and can be classified as a 155mm Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) due to its innovative characteristics. The weapon module features a 155mm autofrettaged barrel assembly that complies with the Joint Ballistic Munitions Operating Unit (JBMOU) standards. The barrel itself is 52 calibers long and has a powder chamber capacity of 23 liters. A key component of the weapon module is its fully automatic loader, which can hold 30 projectiles and propellant charges. This loader allows for a rate of fire of up to 4 rounds per minute. Additionally, the platform can accommodate 6 more rounds for automatic reloading purposes, bringing the total combat-ready ammunition to 36 rounds.
