Description
The AV-TM 300 is an upgraded version of the AV-TM missile featuring improved airframe with better aerodynamic performance to achieve a maximum range of 300 kilometers. The AV-TM 300 cruise missile is powered by a turbojet engine and is expected to deliver increased accuracy compared with earlier models. The missile was in the final stages of development and testing in 2018. It is expected to enter service with the Brazilian in the 2018-2020 timeframe as part of the ASTROS 2020 modernization program.
