Description
The Ghadr 1 is a medium range ballistic missile (MRBM) developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the basis of the Shahab-3 ballistic missile. The Ghadr 1 missile will be able to hit targets located at a maximum range of 1,950 kilometers. It is expected to enter service with the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 2019-2020 timeframe. In 2024, it was reported that Yemen deployed the missile under the Mohit designation.
