Description
The MSOV is a standoff air-launched glider dispenser designed to counter SAM sites, airfields, etc. Its modular-warhead can dispense a wide range of submunitions such as anti-tank mines, dual-purpose bomblets, and anti-runaways penetrators. Once released, an INS/GPS guidance system leads the MSOV through its target. The MSOV has been certified for the F-4, F-15 and F-16 aircraft and is currently in service with the Air Force of Israel. The MSOV is the Israeli counterpart to Apache and JSOW glider dispensers.
