Description
The Gaza, also known as Shahed-149, is a tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (TUAV) developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran to fly over distances of 2,000 kilometers. Besides the surveillance and reconnaissance roles, the Gaza can perform strike missions carrying up to 13 Sadid-345 small bombs along 500 kilograms of surveillance gear. The Gaza drone can stay airborne for up to 35 hours and was unveiled in May 2021 achieving initial operational capability by January 2025.
