ZDPSR SOŁA
The ZDPSR SOŁA (Zdolna Do Przerzutu Stacja Radiolokacyjna) is a three-dimensional, multifunction, rotating electronically scanned radar (MRESR) designed for battlefield applications. Operating in S-band, it detects and tracks airborne targets and mortar rounds for short-range (SHORAD) and very short-range (VSHORAD) anti-aircraft systems, with an instrumented range of 20 or 60 km and a range resolution of 120 meters. Its C-band channel is used for detecting hovering helicopters, providing protection for military bases or moving troops, with an accuracy of 30 meters and an antenna rotation of 30 or 60 rpm. Developed from 2015 and introduced into the Polish Armed Forces in 2022, the ZDPSR SOŁA can operate autonomously or as an integrated sensor within land force anti-aircraft defense systems, utilizing built-in wired and wireless data transmission.
