Description

The Kh-58 is a supersonic, anti-radiation missile developed by the Soviet Union to counter enemy air defenses and radar sites operating in A/A', B/B' and C frequency bands. The missile can receive target indication and guidance from the aircraft onboard sensors or from an external pod carrying a sensor set. Equipped with a passive homing head the missile can engage radar emitters day/night and in adverse weather conditions. It was designed as the replacement for older Kh-28 missiles.
