The Min Vietnamese Anti-Personnel Mine is a high-explosive fragmentation (HE-Frag), tripwire actuated, anti-personnel (AP), landmine.

Design The landmine is cast iron, the handle is wood. The landmine body is grey and the handle, if in place, is unpainted. The letters "MIN" are cast into the landmine body but may not appear on all landmines.
Charge The landmine contains a main charge of TNT and a pull-friction initiator. A pull-friction initiator is contained in the adapter and the handle is attached to the adapter by three or four nails. The pull-friction initiator may be actuated by the victim actuating the tripwire, or from a remote position to initiate the landmine.
