Description

The Master A is a 3D, multi-function long-range air defense radar operating in the S-band (IEEE designation) or E/F-band (NATO designation). It is designed for surveillance and tracking of advanced airborne threats and ballistic missiles, offering an instrumented range of 370 km with a range resolution of 220 m and accuracy of 30 m and 0.1 degrees. The radar utilizes a phased array antenna capable of electronic scanning in both azimuth and elevation, either while rotating in azimuth or scanning within a sector. Suitable for unmanned operation, it can function autonomously or as part of a network. The entire system is transportable by C-130 sized aircraft, consisting of three 20-foot ISO containers on 10-ton trucks and one 20-foot ISO platform on a 20-ton trailer, and can be assembled or disassembled by an eight-person crew within 90 minutes.
