Description

The Bina-2 is a laser-guided surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missile developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The new tactical missile can be released by a variety of ground platforms as well as a variety of airborne platforms such as fixed-wing aircraft. The high-speed weapon features ease of maintenance and is aimed at taking out tanks, bridges, military hardware and command centers. The Bina-2 missile was first tested in 2014 and entered service with the Armed Forces of Iran in September 2018. The new missile can be released by upgraded Su-22 fighter aircraft.
