Description

The Future Cruise Anti-Ship Weapon (FCASW) is an advanced strike missile system developed jointly between France and the United Kingdom (UK) and aimed at delivering a next generation weapon system by 2030. MBDA will be responsible for the development of the FCASW under the French procurement agency (DGA) authority. The new system will focus on survivability, range and lethality of anti-ship and deep strike missiles launched by both air and naval combat platforms. The FCASW program was launched in March 2017. In September 2025, the FCASW missile family was re-named as Stratus.
