Description
The Type 055B is an improved variant of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) Type 055 destroyer solving all the operational shortfalls of that warship. The Type 055B is a direct result of the experience gained by the Chinese from the first batch of these destroyers. The upgraded destroyer may enter service in the mid-2030s.
