Description
The Turkish Air Force Hurjet is a new advanced supersonic light training / light attack aircraft developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries as the replacement for the T-38 and F-5 military jets. The single engine, tandem seat aircraft is fitted with modern avionics and a variety of missiles and bombs. The program received the go ahead by the Turkish government in January 2022 and the maiden flight is expected within 2023-2024. The Hurjet supersonic aircraft is expected to perform air-to-air, air-to-surface and training missions.
